Make sure that you’re lucky enough to make it to Pretoria in October and November where you’ll be able to witness the jacarandas in full bloom which is truly a sight to behold. Be sure to visit the Freedom Park, Rietvlei Nature Reserve and the National Botanic Garden while you’re in Pretoria.
Spend a day or two in Bloemfontein and check out its attractions like Naval Hill, the Anglo-Boer War Museum, Loch Logan Waterfront, National Women’s Memorial, and the Oliewenhuis Art Museum.
